How many PDUs do I need?
RBTs need 12 PDUs in each two-year recertification cycle. The requirement starts once you certify or recertify in 2026. Read our full guide.
Do your courses count toward RBT recertification?
Yes. Applied School House is a BACB Authorized Continuing Education (ACE) Provider, and our RBT courses are offered as RBT professional development events. You'll receive the BACB's “RBT Professional Development: ACE Event” form for each completed course.
What document do I get, and when?
The official, signed BACB “RBT Professional Development: ACE Event” form, usually within 48 hours of finishing a course. Add your BACB certification number to your course-site profile so the form can be completed.
How do I submit it?
Upload the form to your BACB account with the PDU entry. Keep a copy for your own records; our PDU tracker can help.
Are PDUs the same as CEUs?
No. RBTs earn PDUs. BCBAs and BCaBAs earn CEUs. RBTs can't earn PDUs from CE events, and BCBAs can't earn CEUs from RBT PD events.
How long do I have access?
The RBT Primer Pack includes two years of access, long enough to cover a full recertification cycle.

For BCBAs
When will CEUs for BCBAs be available?
Our first CEU courses open in October 2026. Join the list and we'll email you when they're live.
Can BCBAs earn CEUs from your RBT courses?
No. The BACB keeps them separate: BCBAs and BCaBAs can't earn CEUs from RBT professional development events, and RBTs can't earn PDUs from CE events.
Do you offer BCBA fieldwork supervision?
Yes, with Dr. Hess, for people accruing fieldwork hours. Places are limited and arranged after a conversation. Learn more and inquire.
For agencies
What's the difference between the Primer and Whole School?
The Primer is a fixed set of 12 courses for an individual RBT. Whole School is for agencies: every seat opens the full RBT catalog, and supervisors choose the courses each RBT takes.
How much is Whole School?
$39 per RBT per year for 5–24 RBTs, $33 for 25–49, and $29 for 50 or more. Seats can be reassigned when an RBT leaves. See team pricing.
Do RBTs need to complete courses on company time?
No. ACE events can be completed on the RBT's own time. In-service PD, which your own BCBA delivers, is the pathway that requires company time.
